Cory Aquino, beloved ex-president of the Philippines, died last night at the Makati Medical Center.

This morning, we attended a memorial in her honor at the Ayala Tower, just a stone's throw from the statue of Ninoy in Makati.

The brief program recalled the fond memories of people about Cory. We sang "Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo" and proceeded to the Ninoy Statue to place our lighted candles there. The group proceeded to La Salle Green Hills to prepare for the coming of the hearse after the mass at Heritage. The mass at Heritage will be exdlusively for the family. After the mass the hearse will be brought to La Salle Greenhills for public viewing and last homage.
